Criminal Defense, also sometimes referred to as Penal Defense, refers to accusations of the breaking of state and/or federal laws. We serve the following types of criminal cases:

Federal Charges

I have represented individuals charged by the Federal Government with crimes involving drugs, weapons, counterfeiting, bank robbery and computer related offenses. I have also represented several individuals before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati, Ohio.

State Cases (Felony & Misdemeanors)

My experience in criminal courts throughout Eastern Tennessee, consists of representing individuals, an occasionally, businesses, charged with crimes ranging from simple misdemeanors or citations (DUI, Theft, Shoplifting) to the most serious types of felonies (1st Degree Murder, Armed Robbery, Aggravated Rape). I also have handled numerous cases before the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals and the Tennessee Supreme Court.
